Summer visitors are arriving! Help us inspire families and educate the next generation about President Reagan.
Dear Friend,

They’re coming by the thousands. And that should thrill you as it does me because that means more Americans are learning from Ronald Reagan than ever.

Visitors are in awe as they walk through this national treasure that is the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum.

And this summer, as our nation reflects on the 10th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s passing, we could see record crowds.

Visitors are coming from all directions, and we must be ready!

One of the most powerful pieces people come to see is a large section of the infamous Berlin Wall. It was June 1987 when President Ronald Reagan traveled to Berlin and stood at a microphone in front of the Brandenburg Gate.

Diplomats urged him to be cautious. “Don‘t ruffle feathers.” They advised him to tone down his speech. Instead, President Reagan spoke the words that made history. He challenged the evil empire of the Soviet Union to “tear down this wall!”

Not long afterward, the wall came down and millions were freed from tyranny. And when visitors to the Reagan Presidential Library & Museum enter our galleries, they learn why.
Your gift renews hope in America Give Now
Visitors discover how President Reagan initiated a deliberate policy designed to overcome Communism: how he increased the United States’ military strength, how he forced the Soviets to break apart their “evil empire.”

Aren’t President Reagan’s bold actions what young people need to learn from in today’s challenging times?

As visitors walk the halls of the Reagan Library they learn about the greatness of America. They see actual artifacts from the Reagan years, explaining why free enterprise is better than big government. They discover how President Reagan led us back to prosperity.

I regularly walk through the museum to observe and talk with our guests. They love to talk about what they are seeing and learning. I firmly believe they come away with some of Ronald Reagan -- and his spirit of love for America -- in their hearts.

Wisdom at the
Berlin Wall
“The totalitarian world produces backwardness because it does such violence to the spirit, thwarting the human impulse to create, to enjoy, to worship. The totalitarian world finds even symbols of love and of worship an affront.… Yes, across Europe, this wall will fall. For it cannot withstand faith; it cannot withstand truth. The wall cannot withstand freedom.”
